We moved into our new house with two weddings to plan so didn't have the time to look for quotes and find a reputable builder we could trust. D&C made the whole process extremely easy and gave us peace of mind, taking the stress out of an already stressful time for us. The work was to a very high standard, and started off as just doing the decorating then moved onto other areas.

Works were for a kitchen/diner knock through to create open space, new bifold doors opening to the garden. New bespoke kitchen, parquet floors and bespoke lighting with other associated refurbishment works. ​ All undertaken as per scope and on time, accommodating slight tweaks to the scope during the design phase with no dramas. Very professional and courteous throughout even considering our slightly unusual demands, Would definitely use again for future works.

February 2018 - Crofton Road Project Our project was an extensive loft conversion which required the removal of the two existing roofs of our extended 1930s house and their re-modelling and raising. We added a master suite and bathroom upstairs and a further ensuite downstairs. In selecting a company to work with, it was really important to us to find builders that would be family friendly and that we would be happy to have in our home around our three young children. BWT were excellent in this regard and all the tradespeople used by them were polite and friendly.  Steve always made a point of chatting to the children when he came by and it was small courtesies such as these that underlined Steve’s obvious concern that we were happy throughout the job. We invited five companies to quote.  We found the quote from BWT had a clear pricing structure, broken down into easy to understand chunks, was comprehensive and supported some flexibility where we unsure whether changes would be required once the work was underway. When we did make changes, Steve priced these in a transparent and reasonable way and gave us time to consider whether we wished to proceed or consider alternatives. During the project we had various ideas. Steve and the team were always on hand to provide well informed help and advice to assist our decision making. Throughout the build, Steve kept us informed and explained what was happening, what was coming up and who was doing what when.  Any delays due to weather or delivery problems etc were explained as soon as they arose and the project overall was completed within our expected timescales, including changes we added. Overall we are delighted with the end result and extremely happy with how the project went.  We would definitely use BWT again - in fact we are in discission now about a follow on project..

Place: Edwardian terraced house, 2 storey with loft conversion (2003). Works carried out very well by skilled and experienced artisans and tradespeople from start to finish of project. Very well supervised by management. Good explanations of positions of trenches and construction, plasterwork, electrical requirements and decorating by head tradespeople and management. Full propping of property after demolition of back and side return walls. Correct attention paid to foundation concrete placement and drying, prior to steels being embedded

2 Bathrooms - full strip and re-fit 2 new Bathrooms. Full strip out and re-fit of high spec bathrooms including new plumbing, moving walls, new wall niches, fitted walk-in shower, bath, sinks, toilets, units, radiators and floor and wall tiles and lighting and electrics. Finish on tiling was superb. Accommodated changes to requirements on the fly and demonstrated creativity in finding solutions to challenging constraints, all with a positive and patient attitude. Would highly recommend.
