The state-of-the-art gym here at Redcar offers 89 stations including treadmills, cross trainers, resistance machines and a large free weights area. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to help you get the most out of your workout too.
Our state-of-the-art centre hosts a six-lane, 25m swimming pool. Next to the main pool, is a teaching pool, complete with a movable floor, adjusting for such activities as swimming lessons, Hydro Spin and casual swimming. There’s also a beach pool, which has a slide and other features for the kids.
The FlowRider takes in all aspects of board sports. It has the look of surfing, the ride of snowboarding, the tricks of skateboarding, and boards derived from wakeboarding. By generating a thin sheet of water, no more than 3 inches deep, that flows over a stationary wave, you can carve and turn, ride up and slide down the simulated wave surface.
