There are many ways we can make a bathroom a safer and more practical space for the elderly and disabled. Wet rooms are a practical alternative to a traditional bathroom - completely waterproof, they are an easy to clean and contemporary space with no steps or obstructions. Or we can fit shower cubicles with the tray let into the floor for a no-step access. Walk-in baths are tall, tub-style baths allowing you to take a soothing bath, or a sitting shower. Full length walk-in baths with doors provide easy access to and from the bath. We also fit shower toilets, providing independence and dignity, with added benefits of improved personal hygiene, reduced risk of infection and intervention by carers. We can provide a wheelchair or walker user with maximum independence within their own home. Entrance doors can be replaced with wider ones having a level access threshold for improved mobility. The same principal can be applied to all internal doors and steps. We can install various types of access ramps, too. A concrete ramp is a more permanent fixture for your home, or you may prefer a metal ramp. We can advise you on the best solution for your needs.
